WELCOME TO COMPLEX MELODIES
CYclone began to rhyme in the year of 1995 and formed a rap group with his brother and best friend Eli. Through much dedication he eventually went solo in the year of 1999. During this time CY had a few producers that was supposed to produce beats for him, but they were taking too long and holding him back as he waited on them. With tons of music and beats in his head he went out and purchased a Triton Studio keyboard for $2,500 at the time and began to learn how to make beats. He used Korg support and continued calling with questions until he was fully trained on the equipment and began writing to the beats he produced. These songs created his first album The Complex. Although he hadn’t completed the album yet, he would perform those songs playing them straight from the keyboard. In the year 2002, CYclone did a concert and greatly impressed a professional producer well known in Houston named Stikk. He was so blown away by his performance, he grabbed CY by the shirt and out of the building with excitement as he asked and motivated CYclone to move to Houston to further pursue his opportunities in music. As listeners walk through the night they approach a mansion that seems full of life inside with bright lights flickering, & this interests them, similar to how flies are attracted to light and began to fly fast around it, seemingly to enjoy the light. As they approach a beautiful colorful building off in the distance, a sign appears that reads, “Welcome to the Musical Castle of CYclone! They all walk fast towards the beautiful building, walking up the grass, taking a glance at the moon in the sky, and the colorful sparkle of this mansion, they open the front door and see many rooms. The entire house seemed alive. The doors moved forming a tunnel. Each room has a door with a sign above it that says, “Open this door and visit this this musical Godz’illa environment or Computer World environment, or The Confession Invasion environment with a message sent from the Complex Album. Each door had a sign that said this with a song title above each door written in this manner. As listeners began to open the door, each sign above each door with each song written on it had a key attached to it. The keys came from The Complex Album track number 5 from a song called, “The Message” and these keys unlocked each environment. Each door, led to each environment which had a message, and music that was able to speak and describe the message. The production surrounding listeners ears beautifully described each environment & it’s message.
